Home test rides are now live in select cities and locations. You will receive a notification from us once we are available in your location. You can then go ahead and book your test ride through the Ola App and experience the revolution!

No you don't have to pay to take a test ride. We want all our customers to experience the Ola scooter and be absolutely sure of their purchase.

Home test rides for the Ola Scooter are live across India! These include Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Bhopal, Chennai, Coimbatore, Delhi, Hyderabad, Indore, Jaipur, Kochi, Kolkata, Mumbai, Nagpur, Panaji, Pune, Vijayawada & Lucknow. We will soon be scaling up test rides all across India.

Customers will receive an intimation for the test ride, along with the location and appointment details via SMS and email

The address proof requirement for your scooter registration varies based on the state where the scooter is getting registered. Refer to the state-wise list of documents which are valid as address proof here. The same will also be prompted at the time of uploading the requisite documents after paying successfully.

We are trying our best to get the scooters out to you as fast as we can. Unfortunately, we won’t be able to expedite your dispatch, but we assure you this will be worth the wait!

The dispatch window can be viewed on the Ola app- login to your app, click on the Ola scooter card and go to the order details page to view the dispatch window and invoice for each order.

Once dispatched from the Future factory, scooter delivery can take up to 3 weeks depending on the time needed for the RTO registration process and the final location of delivery.

You can opt in for home charger installation by paying Rs. 2,359 while making the balance payment for your scooter. Our service champion will come to your house to install the home charger.

At the time of making the balance payment, you will need to upload a scanned image of your Aadhaar card along with your Aadhaar number, as proof of identity. The name on the Aadhar card is the name in which the scooter will be registered and FAME subsidy can be claimed. You will also need to upload a scanned copy of your PAN card. Additional address proof may be required, depending on the state regulations.

At the time of registration, your registration partner will inform you incase of any variation in document requirements by your local RTO and guide you through the entire process.

You can find the hypercharger nearest to you through the scooter dashboard or Ola Electric app. Use the navigation feature in your scooter to reach the location. You can soon locate Ola Hyperchargers on Google Maps as well.

The hypercharger is enabled for Ola scooters with MoveOS 3 update only.

Once at the hypercharger , take the available charger out from the hypercharger station and plug it into the scooter charging port. The charger gets latched into the scooter charging port while charging and the scooter dashboard will change to the ‘Hypercharging’ screen.

Time to reach 70% charge will be displayed. When you want to unplug the charger, press the ‘Stop Charging’ button on the scooter dashboard and wait for the ‘Unplug the charger now’ message to appear on the screen.

Once at the hypercharger , take the available charger out from the hypercharger station and plug it into the scooter charging port. The charger gets latched into the scooter charging port while charging and the scooter dashboard will change to the ‘Hypercharging’ screen. Time to reach 70% charge will be displayed.

It is super fast . You can get up to 50 km range in 15 minutes* of charging at an Ola Hypercharger.

*Time taken to charge and range depends on scooter temperature, ambient temperature, age of scooter and other factors

The Hyperchargers are absolutely free to use for Ola scooter customers for a limited period.

There is no scheduled maintenance of the Ola scooter as we believe in preventive maintenance using advanced technology over scheduled maintenance. We monitor your scooter remotely, provide you with preventive nudges to maintain it in top shape and if needed, contact you in case we find that your scooter needs servicing.

Customers who have purchased Ola Care/Care+ plans after their scooter delivery will have a 7 day waiting period for availing roadside towing and breakdown associated services under their chosen plan. This does not apply to customers who are purchasing the Ola Care/Ola Care+ plan along with their new scooter.

The process to avail benefits covered under your Ola Care/Care+ subscription is simple. 

Step 1: Register a service request through the Ola Electric app or our service helpline (08033113311). While registering the request, mention your plan name and the service you would like to avail.

Step 2: Our service team will verify your subscription and modify the billing based on its coverage. You may be asked to provide the subscription certificate for verification.

Note: Ensure that your plan has not expired since this will result in appropriate charges for the services availed.

The Ola Care/Care+ subscription excludes coverage for all issues/damages in the scooter caused due to deliberate damage, negligence, usage against the recommendation of the Owner’s Manual, natural calamities, service/repair outside the Ola network, criminal activities, illegal activities and accidents.
In case of accidents, only assistance related to towing, puncture, medical, custody, hotel & taxi will be provided, as per your plan.

Towing assistance will not cover charge run-out cases due to customer negligence

The consumables which will be replaced for free under the subscription, if applicable, are Brake Fluid, Front Brake Pad Set, Rear Brake Pad Set, Front Wheel Bearing Assembly, Rear Wheel Bearing Assembly, Structure Arm Rear shock bushing, Swingarm bearing and seal, Steering Bearing Set and Drive belt.

Note - Consumables are replaced on a need basis only. The decision that a particular consumable needs replacement lies with the Ola service representative. This excludes service/repair cases covered under Insurance, any deliberate damage and any damage due to natural calamities. This service is not a replacement for insurance and the final decision on repair cost lies with Ola.

The Ola Care and Ola Care+ subscriptions are valid for one year from the purchase date or delivery date of the scooter, whichever is later.

If your scooter has already been delivered, you will receive the certificate via email within a few hours of completing the payment. This will be sent to the email address registered with Ola.


If your scooter is yet to be delivered, you will receive the certificate via email on the delivery date

Once your scooter breakdown case is registered and verified, our local support provider will get in touch with you. In the event of towing, customers can communicate to the service provider that they will require a taxi service for their onward journey. Upon receiving the request, if applicable, the service provider will arrange for a taxi through their own network of fulfillment partners. This service will be free for the customer within the specified limit (₹1,000). Any amount excess of the limit will be borne by the customer. The amount, if any, will be communicated to the customer by the service provider.

Once your breakdown is registered and verified, our local support provider will get in touch with you. In the event of towing outside municipal city limits (greater than 25 km), customers can communicate to the service provider that they will require hotel accommodation. Upon receiving the request, if applicable, the service provider will arrange for a hotel after consulting with the customer through their own network of fulfilment partners. This service will be free for the customer within the specified limit (₹ 2,000 for 1 night). Any amount excess of the limit needs to be borne by the customer. The amount, if any, will be communicated to the customer by the service provider.

No, once purchased, you cannot upgrade your plan from Ola Care to Ola Care+ within the period of validity

The Ola Care/Care+ subscription is non-transferable on change of ownership of the scooter.

If you cancel your scooter booking, your subscription will also be canceled and a refund will be issued. If you purchase your subscription after scooter delivery, cancellation is not possible. 

It is non-transferable too; even on change of ownership of the scooter.

We now have 400+ centers in our service network, where you can bring your scooter and get it serviced for no convenience charge. 

Home service is available only to Ola Care + customers.

As promised all customers who have purchased their scooter in December 2022 will be provided free Ola Care+ subscription for 1 year.
